    Letrofemin contains an active substance called letrozole. It belongs to a group of medicines called aromatase inhibitors. It is a hormonal (or “endocrine”) breast cancer treatment.
    Letrofemin reduces the amount of oestrogen by blocking an enzyme (“aromatase”) involved in the production of oestrogens and therefore may block the growth of breast cancer that needs oestrogens to grow.

    Indications

    Letrofemin is used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause i.e cessation of periods.
    It is used to prevent cancer from happening again. It can be used as first treatment before breast cancer surgery in case immediate surgery is not suitable or it can be used as first treatment after breast cancer surgery or following five years treatment with tamоxifen. Letrofemin is also used to prevent breast tumour spreading to other parts of the body in patients with advanced breast cancer.

    Alonet contains the active substance amisulpride. This medicine is an anti-psychotic and is used for some mental and behavioral disorders.

    Indications

    Amisulpride is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic schizophrenic disorders:
    – positive symptoms such as delusions, hallucinations, mental disorders, hostility, paranoid delusions;
    – predominant negative symptoms (deficiency syndrome), such as dull emotions, emotional and social withdrawal.

    Amisulpride also regulates secondary negative symptoms in a psychotic state, as well as emotional disorders such as depressed mood.

  • Description

    Korincare contains nifedipine, which belongs to a group of medicines called calcium antagonists. Nifedipine works by relaxing and expanding the blood vessels. This allows more blood and oxygen to reach the heart and decreases the strain on it.

    Indications

    Korincare is indicated:
    – for the prophylaxis of chronic stable angina pectoris either as monotherapy or in combination with a β-blocker;
    – for the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension.

  • Description

    Klacar is an antibiotic belonging to a group called the macrolides. Macrolide antibiotics are medicines that suppress or stop the growth of certain microorganisms (bacteria) that cause various infections.

    Indications

    Klacar is used to treat infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. This include:
    – Chest infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia;
    – Throat and sinus infections;
    – Skin and soft tissue infections such as cellulitis, folliculitis or erysipelas;
    – Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in patients with duodenal ulcer in combination with other medicines that suppress stomach acidity;
    – Common or localized mycobacterial infections caused by certain types of microorganisms (Mycobacterium avium or Mycobacterium intracellulare; localized infections, caused by Mycobacterium chelonae, Mycobacterium fortuitum or Mycobacterium kandadii).
