    Verapamil-Tchaikapharma supresses the amount of calcium getting into the muscle cells in heart and blood vessels. This can change the strength and speed with which your heart beats. It also opens up the blood vessels so blood can be pumped around the body more easily. This helps more oxygen to get to your heart muscle and can lower your blood pressure.

    Indications

    Verapamil-Tchaikapharma is indicated for treatment of myocardial ischaemia (conditions characterized by insufficient oxygen supply to the heart muscle), including:
    -chronic stable angina pectoris;
    – unstable angina pectoris (crescendo angina, angina at rest);
    – vasospastic angina pectoris (Prinzmetal’s angina);
    – angina after myocardial infarction in patients without heart failure, in case the use of beta-blockers is not indicated.

    Verapamil-Tchaikapharma is indicated for the treatment of abnormal heart rhythm in paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation/flutter with rapid ventricular response except in Wolff-Parkinson-White or Lown-Ganang-Levine syndrome.

    Verapamil-Tchaikapharma is indicated for treatment of high blood pressure hypertension.
