Description

Propipin is a medicinal product that contains the active substance dabigatran etexilate and belongs to a group of medicines called anticoagulants. It works by blocking a substance in the body which is involved in blood clot formation.

Indications

Propipin is used in adults to prevent the formation of blood clots in the veins after knee or hip replacement surgery.

Propipin is used in children to treat blood clots and to prevent blood clots from reoccurring.

Description

Rivaroxaban-Tchaikapharma contains the active substance rivaroxaban and o belongs to a group of medicines called antithrombotic agents. It works by blocking a blood clotting factor (factor Xa) and thus reducing the tendency of the blood to form clots.

Indications

Rivaroxaban-Tchaikapharma is indicated for:

• prevent blood clots in the veins after a hip or knee replacement operation. Your doctor has prescribed this medicine for you because after an operation you are at an increased risk of getting blood clots.;
• treat blood clots in the veins of your legs (deep vein thrombosis) and in the blood vessels of your lungs (pulmonary embolism), and to prevent blood clots from re-occurring in the blood vessels of your legs and/or lungs.

Description

Rosteza contains two different active substances in one film coated tablet. One of the active substances is rosuvastatin calcium, belonging to the group of so-called statins, the other active substance is ezetimibe.

Indications

Rosteza is a medicine used to lower levels of total cholesterol, “bad” cholesterol (LDL cholesterol) and fatty substances called triglycerides in your blood. In addition, it also raises levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL cholesterol). This medicine works to reduce your cholesterol in two ways: it reduces the cholesterol absorbed in your digestive tract, as well as the cholesterol your body makes by itself.

For most people, high cholesterol does not affect the way they feel because it does not produce any symptoms. However, if it is left untreated, fatty deposits can build up in the walls of your blood vessels causing them to narrow.

Sometimes, these narrowed blood vessels can get blocked which can cut off the blood supply to the heart or brain leading to a heart attack or a stroke. By lowering your cholesterol levels, you can reduce your risk of having a heart attack, a stroke or related health problems.

Rosteza is used in patients whose cholesterol levels cannot be controlled by a cholesterol lowering diet alone. You should stay on your cholesterol lowering diet while taking this medicine.

Your doctor may prescribe Rosteza if you are already taking both rosuvastatin and ezetimibe at the same dose level.

Description

Reduci contains the active substance lercanidipine hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called “calcium channel blockers” (dihydropyridine derivatives), which work by opening and relaxing blood vessels, allowing the blood to pass through them more easily. This lowers blood pressure and allows the heart to work more efficiently.

Indications

Reduci is indicated in adults for the treatment of mild to moderate essential

hypertension. (not recommended for children under 18 years of age).
