  • Desctription

Co-Paxene is a combination of two active ingredients, perindopril (ACE inhibitor) and indapamide (diuretic). ACE-inhibitors act by widending the blood vessels, which helps the pumping of blood from the heart. Diuretics increase the amount of the excreted urine from the kidneys. Indapamide differs from the other diuretics by causing slighter increase of the excreted urine quantity. Each of the active substances lowers the blood pressure and they act together to control it more effectively.

    • Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertonia)

    • Treatment of cardiac insufficiency (state, where your heart can’t pump enough blood to answer all the needs of the organism)

    • Reduces the risk of cardiovascular incidents like myocardial infarction in patients with stable form of cardiac coronary disease (state, in which the flow of blood in the heart is lowered or blocked) and in patients who had myocardial infarction and/or surgery for widening of blood vessels

    • When it is not enough the blood pressure to be controlled only with perindopril.
