    Irbesso belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin-II receptor antagonists and prevents the binding of angiotensin-II to these receptors, causing the blood vessels to relax and the blood pressure to lower. Irbesso slows the decrease of kidney function in patients with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.

    Indications

    Irbesso is indicated for:
    – treatment of essential hypertension;
    – treatment of renal disease in adult patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus as part of an antihypertensive medicinal product regimen.

    Concentration and pharmaceutical form: 150 mg, 300 mg film-coated tablets

    Furoser contains furosemide – a loop diuretic, and is used to remove excess fluid accumulated in the body (oedema).

    Indications

    Furoser is used in cases of hypertensive crises, acute heart failure, acute renal failure, chronic renal failure, nephrotic syndrome and in the treatment of edema of cardiac, hepatic or renal origin.

    Bisor belongs to a family of medicines called beta-blockers. By blocking cardiac β-receptors, the heart rate and stroke volume of the heart are decreased, as well as the oxygen consumption of the myocardium. The antihypertensive effect of β-blockers is due to inhibition of plasma renin activity.

    Indications

    Bisor is indicated for the treatment of:
    – hypertension;
    – chronic stable angina pectoris.

    Concentration and pharmaceutical form: 5 mg, 10 mg tablets

    Betablockade contains metoprolol – selective β1 receptor blocker used in the treatment of a number of diseases of the cardiovascular system, especially hypertension.

    Indications

    Betablockade is used for the treatment of:
    – hypertension;
    – angina pectoris;
    – heart arrhythmia, particularly supraventricular tachycardia;
    – prophylactic treatment to prevent cardiac death and re-infarction following the acute phase of a myocardial infarction;
    – palpitations due to functional cardiac disorders;
    – prophylaxis of migraine;
    – stable symptomatic heart failure (NYHA II-IV, left ventricular ejection fraction < 40%), combined with other therapies for heart failure.
