Description
Famore contains the active substance famotidine, which belongs to a group of medicines called H2-blockers, which work by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach and thus helping to improve the condition.
Indications
For the treatment of the following diseases and conditions in which a reduction in gastric acid secretion is indicated:
- duodenal ulcer;
- benign gastric ulcer;
- symptoms caused by reflux of gastric juice into the oesophagus;
- other hypersecretory conditions (e.g. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome).
